A friend sent this to me:
2009 Inauguration Photo - SUPER HI-DEF
This is absolutely the BEST in 'high definition'..... Really amazing.
Zoom in ('double-click' an area) ....and watch it focus.
Then zoom some more... and wait for focus.
What a surveillance tool this is. !
This picture was taken with a robotic camera and weighs in at 1,474 megapixel. (295 times the standard 5 megapixel camera)
It was a Canon camera, over 200 individual shots stitched together.
Each zoom in takes a second to focus ...and then you can see some amazing reactions.
Bonus points if you find Yo-Yo Ma .... taking a picture with his iPhone.

I tried but couldn't find Yo-Yo Ma
Can you??

Tini, thanks for sharing. Seeing all of those people gives me goosebumps. Wow, I just love the zoom feature.
Happiness is not, except in very rare cases, that drops into the mouth like a ripe fruit.Happiness must be,for most men and women,an achievement rather than a gift of the gods, and in this achievement, effort, both inward and outward, must play a great part.
1Isn't it cool??? It is so amazing! I have been playing with it all day - just don't tell my boss! LOL!
2It is really cool! Thanks for sharing.
And I can't find Yo Yo Ma, either, but I did find a guy who must have quickly moved his head or something (a few people left of Aretha Franklin, kind of behind Jimmy Carter) because his head looks like its sliced in two.
3I am just zooming in to see how bundled up everyone is. Bad I know.

4Hint *Yo Yo was behind Obama...I found him!!! Awesome.
♥ SugarKat Honey Bee!
5who is yoyo ma?
6Bush's face is priceless...
7lol, something has been retouched, either that or there is something horribly wrong with the woman in grey pants and a purple jacket standing directly down and up from Obama's platform. It is a couple standing in front of the side of the staircase. If you zoom in on her, she looks like that picture, the illusion of the fork thing where the prongs don't match up or shouldn't. lol, sorry, I am such a dork.
8The twins are sharing a blanket. I want a twin!
9And thank you for posting this, it is neat!
10There are a few that don't look right....one guy's head looks like it has been cut in half, too!
It is comprised of about 200 shots all stitched together, so I think I will cut them some slack!
11ah, I see! It appears I should have read the whole post before clicking the link!
12Are you kidding, GS? I must've played around on that site for about an hour before I went back and read the email - I just read the first sentence, then went straight to the link!! LMAO!
13momma tikita, Yo-Yo Ma is a famous cellist. He played at the inauguration.
14This is fantastic! I found Yo-Yo Ma. If you look on the balcony up and behind Obama you'll see a big group of people wearing red caps. He is standing to the right of them holding his camera. I am going to have fun with this. I have some friends in the media that where there and pretty close by. Thanks for the link
15This is awesome Martini! Thanks for sharing.
16Ah, Sofi - THANKS!
17What do I get if I find Waldo?
This is awesome Martini, I can't wait to pass it along!
18This is awesome! I spent ages trying to find Yo-Yo Ma, but finally did... and then set about trying to ID other people in the crowd. Fantastic procrastination tool.
19This is a GREAT Martini!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
20PS: I was out there and I don't think I have ever been that cold in my life.
21tia - can we find you in the photo?????
What an amazing experience to have had!
22Doubtful, Martini. I wasn't nearly this close, and I was on the parade route side...FREEZING, LOL.
23Well, at least you will have an amazing story for your children and grandchildren (and everyone else!)
